ASAMBLEA Orellana Y Sucumbios esperan que el problema se solucione en un mes

Los pobladores de Orellana y Sucumbios le dieron un ultimátum al Gobierno. Si en 30 días no da una solución definitiva a la crisis energética de las provincias, habrá un paro cívico como el del año pasado.

Ambas zonas sufren de racionamientos de energía de hasta 14 horas. Frente a esta emergencia, el prefecto de Orellana, Daniel Lozada (Alianza Amazónica)m y el de Sucumbios, Luis Bermeo,(Pachakutik), convocaron a la quinta asamblea biprovincial.

En esta cita estuvieron mas de 1200 personas y fueron invitados el director del CONELEC, Xavier Astudillo; el gerente de Planificación del Fondo de Solidaridad, Vicente Alarcón; el ministro de Obras Públicas, José Macchiavello.

“El sistema eléctrico es calamitoso. Ayer (jueves) hubo un apagón tan fuerte que cuatro computadoras del Municipio se fundieron”, dijo el Alcalde de La Joya de los Sachas.

 1) Electricity Crisis Ultimatum

ASSEMBLY- Orellana and Sucumbios expect the problem to be solved in a month

The people of Orellana and Sucumbios gave an ultimatum to the government. If the energy crisis in the two provinces is not solved in 30 days, there will be a general strike, similar to that of last year.

Both zones are affected by power outages of up to 14 hours. Faced with this emergency, the prefect of Orellana, Daniel Lozada (of the Amazon Alliance party) and Luis Bermeo, prefect of Sucumbios (of the Pachakutik {New Country} party) called for the fifth biprovincial assembly.

1200 attendees were present at the convention. Invited were the director of CONOLEC, Xavier Astudillo; the administrator of the Development of the Solidarity Fund, Vicente Alarcón; and the Minister of Public Works, José Macchiavello.

“The electrical network is in a calamitous state. Yesterday (Thursday) there was an power outage so strong that four municipal computers crashed,” said the mayor of La Joya de los Sachas.
